About us

The designer behind FJORD is Suffía Nón and she designs all the Fjord products. The name FJORD originates from her hometown Fuglafjörður, where Suffía is born and raised.

FJORD started in september 2016 when Suffía for fun drew some birds, which she posted on her Facebook profil. This has since developed into several different products that are in high demand both in the Faroe Islands and abroad.

Suffía’s idea is to design cheerful items, which have inspiration from faroese culture and nature as well as the maritime environment, which she grew up in. 

Suffía lives in Fuglafjörður with her husband and two sons.
