Sniðgevin handan FJORD er Suffía Nón, og tað er Suffía, ið sniðgevur allar Fjord vörur. Navnið Fjord kemur av heimstaðnum Fuglafjörður, har Suffía eisini er född og uppvaksin.
FJORD byrjaði í september 2016, tá Suffía til stuttleika teknaði nakrar súlur, sum hon legði út á sín Facebook-vanga. Eftir hetta fekk hon íblástur til at menna fleiri vörur, og eru í dag hesar vörur nógv eftirspurdar bæði í Föroyum og uttanlands.
Hugskotið hjá Suffíu er at sniðgeva hugnaligar brúksvörur, sum hava íblástur úr föroyskari mentan, náttúru og tí maritima umhvörvinum, ið hon er uppvaksin í.
FJORD bleiv í 2024 heiðrað sum ársins íverkseti, og hetta hevur givið okkum enn størri áræði at menna nýggjar, spennandi vørur til føroyska og altjóða marknaðin.
Suffía Nón býr í Fuglafirði saman við manni og tveimum synum.
Custom designs
At FJORD, we collaborate with museums, visitor attractions, and companies seeking meaningful, well‑designed products for their gift shops. We create custom collections that reflect each partner’s identity, story, and surroundings —designs made to be taken home and remembered.
All illustrations and designs are created by Faroese artist and designer Suffía Nón, who is the designer behind all of Fjord’s products. Through close collaboration, we translate each partner’s world into distinctive designs across a wide range of quality products.
Among our collaborations is Den Blå Planet in Denmark, where Suffía illustrated marine animals featured on tote bags, tea towels, magnets, postcards, bottles, and puzzles. We have also developed product collections for Elding Whale Watching in Iceland, featuring illustrated Icelandic motifs and whales.
From concept and illustration to production and delivery, FJORD manages the entire process with care and attention to detail.
